A sweet return from Paul Kariya! Paul is one of my favorite players to have played the game. He hails from Vancouver, BC which makes it pretty neat as he was once one of the elite players in the league. He signed this Upper Deck, MVP card, which in fact wasn't mine, but still happy for the autograph. Thanks Paul!

Dan Ellis was drafted 60th overall, picked by the Dallas Stars in the 2000 entry draft. He made his debut in 2004 vs the LA Kings, posting a 4 - 3 win. Dan came under hot water when he tweeted, complaining about a pay cut. Of course, most of us wouldn't feel bad, making an NHL salary, but Ellis felt that they deserved more because they are specialists. Good luck trying to convince the most of us that you need more money!

The captain of the Nashville Predators, Olympic gold medalist, and NHL all-star, Shea Weber is a hulking defenseman born out of BC. He represented Team Canada recently at the Vancouver Olympics and scored a goal that will be remembered as one that actually broke the netting! Shea came out to greet us, and signed everything and I really love the way he signed this card. Thanks so much Shea!

Patric was drafted 230th overall in the 2005 entry draft by the Predators (it seems like they retain some good players the past few posts). He had a breakout year, posting 30 goals and 51 points in 80 games. A very good start for someone just breaking into the league.

One of the newest inductees into the Nashville Predators squad, Colin Wilson was drafted 7th overall by the Nashville Predators in 2008. He's participated in a couple of international tournaments for Team USA, capturing one gold and one silver medal.

Jordin Tootoo is the first player of Inuit decent to play in the NHL, as well as be drafted by an NHL team. Interestingly enough, he chose his jersey number as a play on his name. Jordin was one of a very fan-friendly team to sign for us autograph hounders.

David Legwand, drafted 2nd overall by the Nashville Predators back in the 1998 entry draft, has been with the Preds for over 10 years. Legwand has the distinction of being the first NHL player to have scored in overtime on a penalty shot. He is the current franchise leader in games and points.

Shea Weber was selected for Team Canadas' team at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. He's a great defensemen who plays for the Nashville Predators and captains the team. Standing at 6'4, his physical play does not go unnoticed. Shea signed this card, along with a Team Canada card I had sent.
